Ukraine has again attacked an oil pipeline leading to Hungary, resulting in the halt of oil shipments. Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said on Facebook on Monday, calling this further attack on Hungary's energy security outrageous and unacceptable, reports TASR's correspondent in Budapest.
Russian Deputy Energy Minister Pavel Sorokin has just announced that Russian specialists are trying to restore the transformer station, which is essential for the operation of the gas pipeline, as quickly as possible, but they cannot yet say when oil transit can resume, Szijjártó wrote.
"Brussels and Kiev have been trying to push Hungary into a war in Ukraine for three and a half years, and the increasingly frequent Ukrainian attacks on our energy security are also aimed at this. So let's make it clear once again: this is not our war, we have nothing to do with it, we do not want to interfere in it, and as long as we are in power, it will remain this way," the Hungarian minister emphasized.
Szijjártó also conveyed to the Ukrainian government that Hungary plays a key role in energy supplies to Ukraine.
