"I spoke with US President Donald Trump. Good conversation, very productive. I congratulate President Trump on the success and the agreement on the Middle East, which he really secured, and this is a strong result. And if the war in this region can be stopped, then certainly other wars can be stopped, including this Russian war," Zelensky said on social media.

"I informed President Trump about Russia's attacks on our energy sector. I thanked him for his willingness to support us. We discussed opportunities to strengthen our air defense and the agreements we are preparing in this regard. There are good opportunities, strong ideas on how to really strengthen us," Zelenskyy said.

According to him, Russian readiness to participate in real diplomacy is necessary.
