As Ukrinform reports, this was stated by Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski, reports Barron's.

"We have no doubt that this was not a random event. We are dealing with an unprecedented case of an attack not only on the territory of Poland, but also on the territory of NATO and the European Union," Sikorski said.

The head of the Polish Foreign Ministry noted that Russian drones had previously entered Polish airspace, but this situation was different.

"When one or two drones do this, it may have been a technical malfunction. But, as I told you, in this case there were 19 violations, and it is simply impossible to imagine that this could have been accidental," Sikorsky said.

According to PAR, Sikorsky informed that on Wednesday the charge d'affaires of the Russian Embassy in Poland was summoned to the Polish Foreign Ministry and handed a note of protest.

The head of the Polish foreign ministry also reported that he had held extensive consultations, including with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Szybiga and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaia Kallas.

"I also passed the information on to US Secretary of State Marco Rubio," Sikorsky said.

As Ukrinform reported, the Russian Defense Ministry reported a massive drone and missile strike on Ukrainian cities on Wednesday night, stating that the targets for destruction on the territory of Poland were apparently not planned.
