US President Donald Trump has confirmed that he will meet with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky around noon on Wednesday. The meeting was previously reported in the media at the NATO summit.
"He's a nice guy, I'll be meeting with him today," Trump said on Wednesday, adding that he would"discuss the issues with Zelensky."
As expected, Zelensky's meeting with Trump took place after the NATO leaders' plenary meeting.
In addition to Trump, Zelenskyy was also scheduled to meet with the prime ministers of Denmark and New Zealand, the German Chancellor, the prime ministers of the United Kingdom, France, Italy, and Poland, as well as the NATO Secretary General and the leaders of the five most important Alliance countries (E5) - France, Germany, Italy, Poland, and the United Kingdom.
