For Latvia, Kristaps Porziņģis had 21 points, nine rebounds and five turnovers. Rolands Šmits had 15 points and seven rebounds, Dāvis Bertāns had 14 points and six rebounds, and Dairis Bertāns had 11 points.

For Portugal, Rafael Lišboa scored 17 points, while Nemīšs Keta had 16 points and seven rebounds.

The Latvian team made more accurate two-point shots (56% compared to the Portuguese's 38%), and shot with 100% accuracy in free throws (16/16), while the Portuguese made seven of 12 free throws.

In Group A, before the Serbia-Czech Republic match, Turkey has four wins in four matches, Serbia has three wins in three matches, both securing a place in the knockout tournament. Artūrs Žagars started the match with a productive pass and a three-point shot, but Kristaps Porziņģis made it 7:0 with a two-point shot, who then made a long-range shot, giving the Latvian national team a 10:2 lead.
