The U.S. Department of Defense continues to provide President Donald Trump with credible options for further military assistance to Ukraine that will lead to an end to the war.

This is stated in the response of an official Pentagon representative to a media request from Ukrinform, received on Tuesday.

"The Department of Defense continues to provide the President with credible options for continued military assistance to Ukraine in line with his goal of ending this tragic war," the US Department of Defense noted.

Meanwhile, the Pentagon continued, they are carefully examining and adapting their approach to achieve this goal while maintaining the readiness of the US armed forces to meet the administration's defense priorities.

As Ukrinform reported, on Tuesday night, American media reported that the Pentagon had suspended the provision of ammunition and missiles to Ukraine. White House spokeswoman Anna Kelly confirmed this, stating that the decision was made to put America's interests first after the US Department of Defense reviewed military support and assistance to other countries around the world.
