Erdogan said Turkey has stepped up diplomatic efforts for peace while crises and wars continue in neighboring countries. He added that Ankara is pursuing a policy of peace in the Russia-Ukraine war.
"We believe that this war must end. Just as the negotiating table was set in Istanbul, the peace table will be set in Turkey in the near future - and this bloody war will be ended," the Turkish president said.
Erdogan also recalled that during the third round of negotiations in Istanbul, the Ukrainian and Russian delegations agreed on a new prisoner exchange.
