Ukraine's intention to escalate the armed conflict and disrupt any attempts at a peaceful settlement is obvious, said the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, in a commentary in connection with the attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on a children's playground in Donetsk.
She stressed that Russia reserves the right to give an adequate response to this attack.
At the same time, our fundamental commitment to a constructive search through a peaceful settlement through dialogue remains unchanged, Zakharova said.
She also called on the international community to give an adequate assessment of such actions on the part of Kyiv. The representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs called the silence in response to the barbarity an act of complicity.
On September 7, the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched several strikes on Gulliver Park in the Kalininsky district of Donetsk. The park had recently opened, and the Ukrainian side struck its central part. According to the Foreign Ministry, six people, including a child, were injured as a result of the detonation of charges delivered by a drone.
