One of the greatest legends of American and international wrestling, Hulk Hogan, has passed away at the age of 71.
Manager Chris Volo told NBC Los Angeles that Hogan died at his home in Clearwater, Florida, surrounded by his family.
The wrestler who for years was the face of brands like WWE and WCW was fired by the company where he marked an era through his social networks.
" WWE is saddened to learn that WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has passed away. One of the most recognizable figures in pop culture, Hogan helped WWE achieve global recognition in the 1980s," the American wrestling company wrote.
