Earlier, White House press secretary Caroline Levitt denied that Donald Trump encouraged further violence in Ukraine during his July 4 phone call with Vladimir Putin.

Following reports that Donald Trump asked Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky if he could strike the Russian capital, Moscow, the US president, in essence, responded by stating that Ukraine should not target Moscow.

Earlier, White House press secretary Caroline Levitt denied that Donald Trump encouraged further violence in Ukraine during his July 4 phone call with Vladimir Putin.

Responding to questions from reporters, Levitt argued that the US president was simply asking a question and was not encouraging any further bloodshed, adding that Trump is working tirelessly to stop the war.
