International diplomacy is intensifying as the Israel – Iran war enters its eighth day, with continuous attacks from both sides and an uncertain outcome. US President Trump has postponed the possibility of direct US military involvement, giving up to two weeks for a peaceful resolution. At the same time, crucial talks are beginning in Geneva with the participation of Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and his European counterparts. Iran, however, states that it will not negotiate until the Israeli attacks stop, which it describes as criminal and accuses the US of complicity. Israel is escalating strikes against government targets, even aiming to destabilize the regime in Tehran.
