White House spokeswoman Caroline Leavitt announced during a press briefing that US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff will visit the Gaza Strip on Thursday to discuss aid delivery mechanisms.

Levitt confirmed that"Wittkopf and US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee will tour existing aid distribution centers and work on developing a plan to increase food supplies. They will also meet with residents of the area."

Levitt indicated that the American delegation will submit an immediate report to US President Donald Trump upon his return from Gaza, with the aim of approving the final plan for distributing food and aid in the region.

She added that Witkoff and Huckabee held a fruitful meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other officials on ways to bring food and aid into Gaza.
