In parallel to the session in the Chamber of Deputies where the opposition will seek to insist on the law of financing for universities and the Garrahan Hospital, where a massive march against presidential vetoes is also expected, Javier Milei called a cabinet meeting at the Casa Rosada.
Upon her return from Paraguay, where she met with President Santiago Peña and spoke at various forums, Milei will lead another cabinet meeting, which also met the day after the crushing electoral defeat in the Buenos Aires province elections.
Before the meeting with his ministers, the President recalled from Paraguay that during the 2023 campaign the opposition"spent saying" that if he won, he would close universities because of his libertarian ideology.
"Not only did they not close the accounts, but we have up-to-date accounts, and some of them don't want to be audited. However, we continue to provide funds, and they continue to scare people. We've been in power for more than 20 months, and we haven't done it," Milei said at the forum with Paraguayan industrialists.
The time of the presidential call coincides with the march for which the Ministry of National Security deployed around 1,100 members of the various federal forces around Congress.

According to the Noticias Argentinas agency, there will be 700 federal police officers, 280 members of the National Gendarmerie, 90 from the Naval Prefecture and about 30 from the Airport Security Police (PSA).
By Wednesday morning, several tanker trucks from the National Gendarmerie were already parked near Congress, in addition to a heavy fence in front of Parliament.
Last week there were three cabinet meetings in two days. The third, held at 9:30 a.m. in the Eva Perón Room, was attended by Karina Milei; the Chief of Staff, Guillermo Francos; Ministers Luis Caputo (Economy), Sandra Pettovello (Human Capital), Federico Sturzenegger (Deregulation), Gerardo Werthein (Foreign Affairs), Mario Lugones (Health), Mariano Cúneo Libarona (Justice), Patricia Bullrich (National Security), and Luis Petri (Defense).

In addition, the presidential secretaries Manuel Adorni and María Ibarzábal (Legal and Technical), and Milei's star advisor, Santiago Caputo, participated in this last meeting.
The president has just finished his last speech in Paraguay and is expected to fly from Asunción to Buenos Aires in the next few hours to lead the cabinet meeting, the agenda of which has not been announced.
