In the capital, during the attack by enemy drones, the sounds of explosions were heard, and in the Desnyanskyi district, debris was recorded falling on residential buildings.
An Ukrinform correspondent reported on the explosions in the city.
"Several enemy UAVs over the capital. Please stay in shelters until the end of the call," wrote in Telegram the head of the Kyiv MVA, Timur Tkachenko.
He added that air defense is operating in the capital.
Soon after, Tkachenko informed that in the Desnyanskyi district, UAV debris fell onto several floors of a residential building.
Soon after, Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko specified:"In the Desnyanskyi district, a nine-story residential building was hit at the level of floors 2-3." Emergency services are heading to the scene, the mayor noted.
At another address in the Desnyanskyi district, debris fell on a 16-story building, Klitschko added.
As Ukrinform reported, last night the Russian army attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles. The strikes killed two people and injured 13.
