After a day without a single reported casualty, the terrorist organization
Hamas
He claimed to the mediators this evening (Friday) that he had located a kidnapped victim. The Al-Qassam Brigades announced that they would hand over the victim at 11:00 PM, and that Israel was preparing to receive him. The terrorist organization did not release the identity of the kidnapped person, who will be identified after he is transferred to the Institute of Forensic Medicine.

In light of the announcement, the coordinator of the POWs and Missing Persons, Gal Hirsch, told the families:"Following Israel's firm insistence on implementing the agreement, another abductee is expected to be transferred to us tonight. After he is taken into our hands, a respectful military ceremony will be held, after which he will be transferred to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for identification. Upon receipt of the identification results, we will update his family and later update you, all the families."
Hamas's announcement to the mediators came after Israel claimed that the terrorist organization knows the location of at least 10 more martyrs, but is"not making enough effort" to bring them to burial - and prefers to use them as bargaining chips.

Earlier, Israel said that"Hamas can try harder to succeed in bringing casualties," which, as
Reported on Ynet the day before yesterday
It gave the mediators reference points for finding the bodies. Muhammad Nazal, a member of Hamas' political bureau, said in an interview with Reuters that"the organization has no interest in keeping the kidnapped bodies left behind." In response, the Prime Minister's Office said that"Hamas is supposed to release all the hostages in the first stage. It did not do so. Hamas knows where the bodies of our hostages are."
Recall that according to Hamas, the terrorist organization has handed over all the hostages - living and dead - that it can reach. According to Nazal, the organization is encountering technical problems in rescuing additional dead. He noted that international agencies will assist in the search if necessary.
It was previously reported that US President Trump's special envoy to the Middle East,
Steve Witkoff
, is expected to arrive in the region - and also in Israel in this context - early next week. This is to discuss the further implementation of the agreement and the return of the remains still in Gaza.

Sources who spoke to his team said that Witkoff is closely monitoring the implementation of the agreement - and promised not to let up on the issue of returning the dead, including several American citizens. A source familiar with the details told Ynet:"The US is in full force on the incident, and it doesn't seem like they've taken the pedal off the gas."
The terrorist organization handed over to Israel this week the kidnapped martyrs Guy Iloz, Tamid Nimrodi, Inbar Heyman, Maj. Muhammad Al-Atrash, Bipin Joshi, Capt. Daniel Peretz, Yossi Sharabi, Uriel Baruch and Eitan Levi.
