Moments before Israel began its withdrawal from the Palestinian enclave, Israeli occupation forces attacked and destroyed the Al-Rantisi Children's Hospital in Gaza, leaving the facility in ruins, the Quds news network reported on Saturday via its X account.

Medical staff at Al Rantisi Hospital returned to find only burned-out structures and damaged medical equipment. Images provided by Gaza's Deputy Health Minister, Yousef Abu Al Rish, showed the hospital was almost completely destroyed.

The ceasefire agreement brokered by President Donald Trump includes the release of Hamas hostages and the release of approximately 2,000 Palestinian prisoners and detainees by Israel. The Israeli military confirmed the ceasefire's entry into force last Friday and indicated that its forces have begun withdrawing from some areas.
