• U.S. President Donald Trump and Russia President Vladimir Putin ended their meeting in Alaska today without a deal on the war in Ukraine.
• Both leaders praised one another at length, but did not offer any details or take any questions about what they discussed for two and a half hours.
• Trump said there were a “few” sticking points in the way of an agreement: “We didn’t get there.”
• Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was excluded from the summit but, in a video address earlier today, said he hoped the U.S. would take a “strong” stance with Russia.
• Trump said he would call Zelenskyy to brief him on the meeting.
