US President Donald Trump shared a post on social media about his upcoming meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on August 15."The media is being very unfair about my upcoming meeting with Putin," Trump said.

Trump noted that former National Security Advisor John Bolton, whom he appointed to his cabinet on the recommendation of his first term, had said,"Putin has already won," even though the meeting was to take place in the US. He also noted that the media was flooded with fake news. He noted that the media was highlighting statements about his meeting with Putin from people he described as"permanently laid-off losers" and "idiots."

"If I had gotten Moscow and Leningrad for free under the deal with Russia, the media would have portrayed it as a 'bad deal.' These people are 'sick' and 'dishonest.' They probably hate our country, but it doesn't matter because we win at everything," Trump said.
