The aftermath of the PRO internal dispute resurfaced amid the discussion of the veto on the University Financing and Emergency laws at the Garrahan University. In the middle of the session, Silvia Lospennato and Alejandro Finocchiaro clashed because the deputy voted against the Government, and Cristian Ritondo, the president of the bloc, had to intervene, angrily. The verbal spats between the yellow party in the middle of the hall were filmed by those attending the session.
Moments before the vote, Finocchiaro had asked to speak and took aim at some of his fellow party members. In an ironic comparison, he said that if the Chamber of Deputies were like the English Parliament,"some colleagues might shamelessly cross over to the opposite steps where the merry populist gang that wants to bring down this government resides."
The words fell badly on the deputies Silvia Lospennato and María Eugenia Vidal who, unlike the majority of their colleagues in the bench, the first voted against the veto of the University Financing law and the other abstained.
According to Clarín, Lospennato criticized Finocchiaro for the comparison with the English parliament, since she understood that the suggestion that she should be located in the front row was for her, since she had announced that she would vote against the veto of the University Financing Law.
Tense moment between Cristian Ritondo and Silvia Lospennato after the representative voted to override Javier Milei's vetoes.
A video by journalist David Cayón shows Lospennato and Finocchiaro sitting in their seats, engaged in a series of mutual recriminations. Moments later, the leader of the PRO bloc, Cristian Ritondo, can be seen intervening to, according to Clarín, defend Finocchiaro's position.
The argument continued with Lospennato, Finocchiaro, and Ritondo verbally sparring as María Eugenia Vidal looked on, visibly upset. Vidal's entourage says she didn't participate in the discussion, although Finocchiaro's message was also aimed at her. Above, Diego Santilli is seen interested in the argument, which he is closely following, but not intervening.
After the brief but heated exchange between Ritondo and Lospennato, the head of the bloc is seen moving his hands in a"stop" gesture and turning his chair around, turning his back on the MP. Beside him, Silvana Giudici tries to calm him down by taking his arm, while Ritondo folds his hands and tries to calm himself down.
At the same time, Finocchiaro continues with his reproaches against the deputy, but Lospennato pays no attention: she continues arguing with Ritondo, who no longer looks at her.

The video also shows Fernando Iglesias - sitting next to Damián Arabia, recently excluded from the PRO - trying to intervene to calm things down.
The video shows the rift left within the PRO by the electoral agreement with La Libertad Avanza. On one side, the pure yellows Vidal and Lospennato, who reject the agreement with the Libertarians and call for a pure PRO; on the other, the PRO deputies who promoted the alliance.
Lospennato, in particular, adopted a very low profile in the Chamber of Deputies after losing to Manuel Adorni in the Buenos Aires legislative elections. She is expected to leave her seat at the end of the year to take office as a Buenos Aires legislator.
The congresswoman was known for her good rapport with the Casa Rosada (Presidential Palace) when the government promoted the Clean Record project, a project she championed from the outset. The President had even highlighted Lospennato's work on this issue.

But in May, when an attempt was made to bring it into the chamber for discussion, the congresswoman blamed the government for the failure of the session to discuss the Clean Record. A few days later, the total rupture would come when a group of libertarian Twitter users released a video made with artificial intelligence in which Mauricio Macri appeared saying that he had dropped Lospennato's candidacy the day before the elections in the City.
Vidal, who was Lospennato's campaign manager, said last month that she would be out of work on December 10 and would return to the private sector, strongly rejecting the nomination for the La Libertad Avanza Alliance.
On the other side are Finocchiaro, a candidate for national deputy for the Province of Buenos Aires, and Ritondo, head of the Buenos Aires PRO (Pro Party of Buenos Aires) and one of the main figures behind the alliance with the Libertarians. Also on that side are Santilli, the third candidate for national deputy for the LLA-PRO alliance in October, and the rest of the yellow bloc in the House of Representatives.
