Gaza, images of skin-and-bone bodies piled up in an ambulance: "Killed while waiting for a sack of flour"

Monday, August 4

Palestinian journalist Khames Alrefi, a Gaza-based journalist, posted a video on his Instagram profile showing several lifeless bodies, reduced to skin and bones, piled up in an ambulance. According to the reporter, who works for Anadolu Agency, they were killed by Israeli army gunfire while waiting for aid in the northern part of the Strip. These are particularly powerful images, which is why we have decided to blur, but they convey better than any words the dramatic scale of the daily massacres in the Strip. Yesterday alone, Israeli army attacks in Gaza killed at least 92 people. Of these, 56 were seeking aid, nine in Rafah and seven in Netzarim, in northern Gaza.
