US Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard told Congress a few weeks ago that according to intelligence, Iran is highly enriched in uranium, but does not have a program to produce nuclear weapons.
Her statement was harshly denied by US President Donald Trump a few days ago, echoing the words of the Israeli prime minister that Iran is weeks or months away from a nuclear bomb. Now Gabbard has changed her mind, saying that the president is right and repeating that Iran is"weeks or months away from a nuclear weapon."
The dishonest media is intentionally taking my testimony out of context and spreading fake news as a way to manufacture division. America has intelligence that Iran is at the point that it can produce a nuclear weapon within weeks to months, if they decide to finalize the…

Many people with some historical memory pricked up their ears. We heard similar things during the presidency of George Bush Jr. in 2003, when the US invaded Iraq, claiming that the regime of Saddam Hussein was developing weapons of mass destruction. At the time, all US intelligence agencies informed the president that this was true.
The Americans never found weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, because of course there were none.
Like the Iraqi leadership at the time, the Iranian leadership now constantly claims that it is not developing an atomic bomb and that it is enriching uranium for peaceful purposes, for use in nuclear power plants. Whether this is true or not, it no longer has any weight. The American president likes to listen to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who attacked Iran a week ago on the grounds that the regime is a few weeks or months away from producing atomic weapons.
However, the Israelis do not have a weapon that could penetrate Iran's deep underground uranium enrichment bunkers. The Americans do have such a bomb, so it is in Israel's interest to drag the United States into the conflict. And everything seems to be working, even through an extremely powerful lobby in Washington.
If, according to American intelligence, the Iranians were only a few months away from an atomic bomb yesterday, and a few weeks today, in a few days, according to new intelligence data, the Iranians will practically have nuclear warheads.
Maybe in two weeks Trump will get his Iraq.
