Civil proceedings were held before the High Court in Belgrade today against boy-murderer, who on May 3, 2023, committed the massacre at Elementary School"Vladislav Ribnikar" in Vračar, and his parents Vladimir and Miljana Kecmanović, according to the complaint of the parents of the wounded boy. At today's trial, the parents of the boy-murderer tried to place the blame solely on their son, but also on the owner of the shooting range where his father took him to learn to shoot.

By the way, the mother of this wounded boy before the court, in this civil procedure, previously stated that on May 3, 2023, everything"happened in front of her son's eyes".

Watched the killer change cartridges

- He watched as he changed cartridges and fired dozens of rounds. He hasn't recovered mentally, he still cries occasionally. The images of the carnage will forever remain in his mind as if he had been in the war. My son survived all those murders and shootings in"Ribnikar" - the mother of the boy who went to the same class with the killer boy stated before the court.

That morning, she said, her son called at 8:45 a.m. and told her he was wounded.

- He was in the classroom until the end and saw everything, the whole massacre. He waited for the killer boy to jump out of the window and then he left the classroom through the door and saw the bodies of the other victims in the corridor - said the mother, who explained to the court that she later watched the video from school, and that it showed her son, limping, returning to the classroom to get his mobile phone and trying to help his friends.

The mother said that her son called her for the second time when the ambulance arrived at the school and that she then realized that a great tragedy had happened.

Wounded in the left knee.

- The police informed me that he was taken to a hospital, but we didn't know which one. We went to the Emergency Center and there they told us that he was alive and that he was wounded, but they didn't know how badly. It was a shock and a lot of stress. Uncertainty whether he will stay alive. I cried a lot. Then the doctors told us that he was wounded in the left knee. We didn't know if he would be able to walk, if he would have a leg. Finally, they called me and said that the wound was below the knee. They operated on him and removed the bullet. He, another girl who was hit and a wounded history teacher were in the same room. My son stayed for three days. When he came out, they gave me a sack with his clothes, which they had completely cut off and which were all bloody - she also described the days after the tragedy.

As she stated, she visited her son in the hospital with the doctor's permission.

- He cried, we talked about that crime, he didn't understand why it happened and he asked me to explain it to him. He got along well with the killer boy, they hung out, he went to his house to do presentations. In some classes, they sat together on the bench. They agreed and went to the book fair together. There was never any conflict between them - she said.

Recovery follows.

In front of the court, she also described how her son is recovering.

- He is still afraid of loud noises. He knows how to cry. He is not sure that the boy who killed his friends is where he is and that he is safe and protected from him. In the first months, he slept with me and my wife in bed. He is afraid that some like-minded person will appear and shoot the same. At school, he had individual and group psychological help throughout the year. He still has pain in his knee. He recently had his leg re-recorded and will be undergoing physical therapy and rehabilitation. The scar below the left knee is very visible in the summer and anyone who meets him asks him what it is - the mother of the wounded boy testified.

As she said, she did not know the parents of the killer boy, nor did she know anything about them. Regarding the minor boy, the killer said that he seemed like a nice child.

- I don't understand how his parents let him develop that aggressiveness. That family made us very unhappy. Our lives will no longer be carefree. We will always be afraid of where he will be, how he will develop, whether he will leave the hospital, whether he will shoot again - she said.

Her son also testified before the court, a boy who was wounded by a juvenile killer, but his testimony was closed to the public.
