Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a new threat to Iran following the implementation of the ceasefire agreement, stressing that if Tehran seeks to rebuild its nuclear program, Tel Aviv will repeat its recent actions against the Islamic Republic.

Netanyahu said in a speech on Tuesday that Israel had achieved a"historic victory" and had succeeded in "destroying the Iranian nuclear program," as he put it. He added,"If Iran attempts to restore its nuclear program, we will act with the same determination and force to thwart any such attempt."

The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran had previously announced that his country intends to continue work at its nuclear facilities without interruption. However, experts indicate that the extent of the damage caused by the Israeli and US attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities remains unclear.

According to US media reports based on a confidential Pentagon assessment, the US strikes only delayed Iran's nuclear program by a few months.

Tehran continues to assert that it has no intention of building nuclear weapons and that its program is for civilian purposes only. However, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has indicated that Iran possessed a stockpile of uranium enriched close to military-grade levels before the war.

Netanyahu also stated that the Israeli military had also destroyed Iran's missile industry, adding that shortly before the ceasefire began, the Israeli military had dealt"the harshest blow since the beginning of the war" to the Iranian government, killing hundreds of Iranian government officials. This information has not yet been confirmed by Iran.

During his speech, Netanyahu extended special thanks to US President Donald Trump for carrying out the strikes against Iranian nuclear facilities, saying,"I must say that Israel has never had a greater friend in the White House than President Trump."
