A notice to pilots stated that Warsaw Chopin Airport was unavailable due to unplanned military activities related to ensuring state security.

Warsaw Chopin Airport announced that part of the airspace over Poland was closed due to military activity. Takeoffs and landings were currently suspended. The airport resumed operations later this morning.

Enemy objects shot down

Following violations of Polish airspace during a Russian attack on western Ukraine, aircraft fired on enemy targets, according to the Polish Defense Minister.
