In the context of the judicial investigation into alleged bribery requests from the National Disability Agency (ANDIS), a new audio recording of Diego Spagnuolo, former director of the agency, was released, in which he refers to the President's sister and current Secretary General of the Presidency, Karina Milei.
In the material broadcast by C5N, Spagnuolo warns:"The day Karina has to go on TV..." And he adds critically: "I really don't understand it. It's not like they said, 'Okay, guys, it's clear. Go for it.' No, it's all theirs." He also questioned: "What knowledge does Karina have to handle all this she's handling?"
This Friday afternoon, Karina Milei is in Rosario accompanying the President to the Stock Exchange. Before leaving, she was seen entering the Casa Rosada with Francisco Onetto, the Mileis' lawyer in the national case known as $LIBRA.
Raids and seizures for alleged bribes
Since dawn, 15 raids were carried out, ordered by prosecutor Franco Picardi and delegated to Judge Sebastián Casanello. During the proceedings, the court located Diego Spagnuolo in the Altos de Campo Grande country club, Pilar district. The prosecutor's office clarified that"there was no arrest warrant against Spagnuolo. We went to secure the evidence, to safeguard it."
Among the seized items were two cell phones, a bill-counting machine, documentation requested from the former official, and small-denomination bills. The audio recordings attributed to Spagnuolo are being investigated for alleged bribes, some of which allegedly implicated Karina Milei. By court order, the investigation was placed under seal, although further measures are expected in the coming hours.
Attorney Gregorio Dalbón, the plaintiff in the case, requested the immediate arrest of Spagnuolo and the owners and directors of the Swiss-Argentine laboratory: Eduardo, Emmanuel, and Jonathan Kovalivker, citing"risk of flight."
One of the raids took place at the headquarters of the Disability Agency, located at Ramsay 2250, where"a payment sheet to the company Suizo Argentina for $10,828,052,146" was found.
In Nordelta, Emmanuel Kovalivker attempted to leave his home but was stopped by police in his car. US$266,000 and $7 million in cash were seized from the vehicle, along with notes and his passport.
