Putin arrived in India on December 4 for a two-day visit. The main events of the state visit are scheduled for December 5. On that day, the president will visit the Mahatma Gandhi memorial. Putin and Modi will then begin talks, first in a restricted format and then in an expanded format. Following this, a document signing ceremony will take place, and the two leaders will make a statement to the media.
Following Putin's arrival in India, Modi posted a message in Russian on social media site X, greeting the Russian leader."The friendship between India and Russia is time-tested; it has brought enormous benefits to our peoples," he wrote.
