"This is a terrible war. It's worse than any conflict since the end of World War II. You look at the people being killed. It's Russia and Ukraine. I think we'll make a deal there, we'll do it. There are many reasons for them to do it. And I think they'll come to the negotiating table soon," the president said.
According to him, the US sells a lot of weapons to NATO:
"And it goes, I think, mainly to Ukraine. It depends on them. But they buy weapons from the US. We make a deal. The best weapons in the world."
The American leader also did not rule out new sanctions against Russia.
