"Putin has gained time to continue his offensive against Ukraine - now we need to see what the next deadline and the conditions of the US and European countries would be for Zelensky to meet with Putin and agree on a ceasefire. If nothing changes, we can expect that military assistance to Ukraine and pressure on Russia from the US and European Union countries will increase," the expert assessed, noting that this would be a logical, rational step, taking into account the existing diplomatic dynamics and meetings between transatlantic allies on issues of Ukraine's defense and support.
