Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Monday that Russia should not be rewarded for the war in Ukraine. He also accused Moscow of"demonstrative and cynical" attacks ahead of his talks with US President Donald Trump at the White House on Monday along with Ukraine's allies. TASR reports this, according to a report by AFP and Sky News.

“Putin will carry out demonstrative killings to maintain pressure on Ukraine and Europe and to humiliate diplomatic efforts,” Zelensky said on social media. “Russia should not be rewarded for its participation in this war,” he added.

Attacks across regions

"Everyone longs for a dignified peace and real security, and right now the Russians are attacking Kharkiv, Zaporizhia, Sumy Oblast and Odessa, destroying apartment buildings and our civilian infrastructure," the Ukrainian president continued.

He said seven people died in Kharkiv, including a one-and-a-half-year-old girl, and three more in Zaporizhia."The Russians are deliberately killing people, especially children... Despite everything, the Russian military machine continues to destroy lives," Zelensky said, calling for an end to the killings.
