Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif condemned the provocative Israeli attack on Qatar, stating that it was aimed at undermining peace efforts in the Middle East.
In his address to the extraordinary Arab-Islamic summit in Doha on Monday, Shehbaz Sharif said that the aggression against Qatar is a blatant violation of its sovereignty and territorial integrity, and yet another example of the ambitions to control and dominate the region.
He added that Pakistan reiterates the need to take urgent action to hold Israel accountable for its crimes against humanity and to establish an Arab-Islamic team to take effective measures to halt Israeli plans.
The Pakistani Prime Minister called for the suspension of Israel's membership in the United Nations and other effective measures against Israel, stressing the need to immediately halt the war on Gaza, ensure the urgent delivery of humanitarian aid, and protect journalists and UN staff.
