The General Directorate of Meteorology expects a heat wave with Sharqi, from Monday to next Friday, with temperatures ranging between 33 and 46 degrees Celsius in several regions of the Kingdom.

The Directorate explained, in an orange alert bulletin, that temperatures are expected to range between 43 and 46 degrees, from Monday to Friday, in the provinces of Taroudant, Tata, Zagora, Assa-Zag, Smara, Boujdour, Oued Eddahab, and Awsard.

The Directorate also expects temperatures ranging between 41 and 44 degrees, from Monday to Tuesday, in the prefectures and provinces of Sidi Kacem, Sidi Slimane, Larache, Kenitra, Ouezzane, Khemisset, Salé, Temara-Skhirat, Mediouna, Nouaceur, Berrechid, Settat, Ben Slimane, Khouribga, Meknes, Fez, Moulay Yacoub, Taounate, Beni Mellal, Azilal, Fqih Ben Salah, Kelaat Sraghna, Rehamna, Marrakech, Sidi Bennour, Guelmim, Youssoufia and Chichaoua.

According to the same source, a heat wave will be recorded today, Monday, with temperatures ranging between 33 and 38 degrees in the prefectures and provinces of Rabat, Mohammedia, Casablanca, El Jadida, Essaouira, Safi, El Hajeb, Sefrou, Khenifra, Al Haouz, Inzegane-Ait Melloul, Chtouka-Ait Baha, Agadir Ida Outanane, Tiznit, Sidi Ifni and within the Tangier-Asilah province.

The Directorate also expects temperatures to range between 41 and 44 degrees Celsius on Wednesday in the prefectures and provinces of Sidi Kacem, Sidi Slimane, Ouezzane, Khemisset, Khouribga, Moulay Yacoub, Taounate, Fez, Meknes, Beni Mellal, Fquih Ben Salah, Kelaat Sraghna, Rehamna, Marrakech and Settat.
