A first group of 200 American soldiers , from the United States and bases in the Middle East, arrived in Israel under the coordination of Admiral Brad Cooper, current head of the United States Central Command.
The deployment is based on the creation of a joint control center, as well as the integration of military personnel from Egypt, Qatar, Turkey and possibly the United Arab Emirates, who would operate from a base in Egypt.
This operation, framed within an agreement negotiated directly by Donald Trump, seeks to guarantee the release of hostages and the partial withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza, with the intention of avoiding a new escalation in the conflict.
For his part, the aforementioned Trump confirmed this Friday that he will travel to Israel , where he will speak before Parliament, and to Egypt, in the context of the possible signing that would seal the agreement to end the war in the Gaza Strip. The presidential entourage is expected to arrive in the Middle East this weekend.
