According to police estimates, 110,000 people gathered at Robinson's rally, reports the French news agency AFP.

Robinson's supporters chanted slogans such as"Stop the boats," "Send them home," "United Kingdom," as well as calls for the resignation of Labour Prime Minister Keir Starmer. Images of American right-wing activist Charlie Kirk, who was killed on Wednesday, were also seen.

Organizers have announced that the rally will be attended by many prominent representatives of the right and far right, including former advisor to US President Donald Trump Steve Bannon.

Robinson announced the rally as a rally in support of freedom of expression, but calls to stop illegal migration were at the forefront.

Robinson, 42, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon , is the founder of the English Defence League and is known for his anti-immigrant and anti-Islam views. He has been convicted of several public order offences and has been jailed twice.
