It has already been reported that following Israeli air strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities and Tehran's retaliatory drone attack, Israel has decided to close all of its embassies and consulates. The Israeli Foreign Ministry announced that Israeli embassies in the US and UK, among others, will also be closed.
Israel carried out strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities and other military targets overnight Friday. Israel reports that it has eliminated several Iranian generals and scientists, including the commander of the Revolutionary Guards' air force.
In total, more than 100 targets were hit. Among the confirmed targets was the uranium enrichment plant at Natanz. Its main production facilities are located underground, and Iran claims that the Israeli airstrikes only damaged above-ground structures.
The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has announced that three key Iranian nuclear sites were not hit in Israeli air strikes. The Fordow, Isfahan and Bushehr sites were not hit, the IAEA said.
But Iran's largest nuclear facility in Natanz has been hit. Video and images show smoke rising from the facility. But no increase in radiation levels has been detected, the IAEA reported.
