Will the US help destroy Iran's nuclear program with its superweapon? Reports indicate that there is movement within the US military: The B-2 stealth bomber and other US aircraft are being relocated!

The B-2 bombers are said to have taken off from Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri to a strategic US base on Guam in the Western Pacific, Israeli public broadcaster KAN reported on Saturday, followed later by several media outlets based on flight tracking data. Guam is"only" about 9,000 kilometers from Iran—much closer than Missouri.

The Northrop bombers were reportedly escorted by four Boeing KC-46 Pegasus tankers. Two of them have already refueled the B2s over the Pacific Ocean. The other two are about 75 kilometers behind them. Two more tankers took off north of San Francisco and are flying north, the report added. Their next refueling point is expected to be in Hawaii later.

This is the mega-bomber B-2

The US Air Force's B-2 Spirit stealth bomber is one of the US's most advanced strategic weapons platforms. The B-2's unit price is approximately $2.1 billion (approximately €1.82 billion), making it the most expensive military aircraft ever (and only 21 were delivered). It can penetrate sophisticated air defense systems and carry out precision strikes against hardened targets—such as the underground Iranian nuclear facilities at Fordo (or Fordow).

The B-2 Spirit can carry GBU-57A/B MOP (Massive Ordnance Penetrator) bunker-buster bombs. These are 6.2 meters long and weigh 13,600 kilograms each—the largest conventional bomb in the US arsenal.

Will the B-2 bomb the nuclear facilities?

The B-2 can do exactly what the Israelis need to crack Fordo. They want to persuade US President Donald Trump (79) to use the bunker busters to destroy the 60 to 80 meters of concrete above the uranium centrifuges. The US president has announced that he will take"two weeks" to make a decision.

The Iranian regime fears that these statements could only serve as a distraction and that a US attack is already being planned. Other observers, however, believe that Trump is hesitating because many within his cabinet—and his supporters—fundamentally no longer want any more military US interventions.
