
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received a delegation from the World Union of Muslim Scholars in Istanbul for the "An Islamic and Humanitarian Responsibility: Gaza" program.
President Erdoğan met with Islamic scholars in Istanbul at the Tunisian Hayreddin Pasha Mansion in Sultanahmet for a program organized at the Democracy and Freedoms Island with the participation of 150 Islamic scholars from 50 countries in cooperation with the World Union of Muslim Scholars and the Islamic Scholars Foundation in Turkey.

Also present at the reception were Presidential Communications Director Burhanettin Duran, Presidential Foreign Policy and Security Chief Advisor Akif Çağatay Kılıç, President of Religious Affairs Ali Erbaş, and President of the International Islamic Thought Foundation and Islamic Thought Institute Mehmet Görmez.
