The Foreign Ministers of Ukraine and the United Kingdom, Andriy Sybiga and David Lemmy, had a substantive conversation on ensuring a just and lasting peace for Ukraine.

The head of Ukrainian diplomacy made this statement on the social network X, Ukrinform reports.

Sybiga noted that he appreciates the leadership of Great Britain in the Coalition of the Willing and its principled position in supporting Ukraine.

"We focused on joint diplomatic efforts to bring about genuine peace for Ukraine and all of Europe. We also discussed ways to further strengthen assistance to Ukraine, including long-term financial assistance," the Foreign Minister noted.

The Minister emphasized that Ukraine and Britain are united in protecting our common security and democratic values.

As Ukrinform reported, Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga, during a telephone conversation with Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand, discussed steps to increase political and sanctions pressure on Russia in order to achieve a just peace.
