Romanian Foreign Minister Oana Țoiu reacted on X to the evolution of talks on stopping the War in Ukraine. Țoiu welcomed President Donald Trump's invitation to Zelensky for a meeting in Washington.
The head of diplomacy in Bucharest emphasized that the new developments in the international dialogue regarding peace in Ukraine are positive, and the involvement of the United States, along with European perspectives and actions, can be decisive not only for achieving peace, but also for maintaining it in the long term.
"We remain convinced that through transatlantic unity and European solidarity we can rebuild together a future in which lasting peace and security are the basis of prosperity in the region," reads the message published by Țoiu.
Oana Țoiu also reiterated that Romania will remain an active actor in this joint effort, emphasizing the importance of the stability and security of the Black Sea region.
