Slovakia supports Ukraine in its movement towards European Union, this is very significant. This is stated in the message in Telegram channel President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy regarding his conversation with the Prime Minister of Slovakia.

The Head of State noted that they discussed key topics - what is of fundamental importance for Ukraine and what is of fundamental importance for Slovakia.

"I informed about our conversation yesterday with President Trump, about working with the leaders of the coalition of the willing to bring peace and guarantee the security of Ukraine, about the security architecture for Europe. And Slovakia will not remain on the sidelines. The Prime Minister spoke about his contacts in China," Zelenskyy noted.

A separate and important issue, he stressed, is Europe's energy independence. The President emphasized that"Russian oil, like Russian gas, has no future."

"Slovakia supports Ukraine in its movement towards the European Union. This is very significant. We also see that Ukraine and Moldova should continue to move together towards membership in the European Union. It is equally important that bilateral cooperation in economic, energy and infrastructure issues here, in our region, strengthens our peoples, our countries," Zelensky noted and added that "it is important that we have this dialogue, and we will continue it."
