Through his social media, Herrera Ahuad highlighted Congress's decision to uphold the university funding and pediatric emergency laws, and reaffirmed his commitment to defending education and public health in Misiones and the country.

The vice president of the Misiones Legislature and candidate for national deputy for the Frente Renovador party, Oscar Herrera Ahuad, expressed his support this Wednesday for the decision by the National Chamber of Deputies to reject President Javier Milei's vetoes of the university funding and pediatric emergency laws.

“Defend what belongs to us. I celebrate the decision by the legislators of my political party to support the laws that guarantee the continuity of our public universities and the Garrahan Hospital,” Herrera Ahuad stated on social media.

The Renovator leader also emphasized that his commitment will continue to be"on the side of the missionaries, defending their right to study and access the best health care," referring to the impact the vetoed regulations have on both the university system and the national pediatric referral hospital.
