USA'S GAZA DRAFT

The Gaza resolution, which was released to the public by the US, emphasized the importance of President Donald Trump's 20-point Gaza plan and the Gaza peace plan signed by the US, Turkey, Qatar, and Egypt in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, and stated that the process would continue within this framework. The resolution emphasized the need for full implementation of the ceasefire in Gaza by all parties involved and stated that the reconstruction and construction process in Gaza would be carried out under the umbrella of the"Peace Board," which has international legal status.

WILL LAST UNTIL DECEMBER 31, 2027

The text stated,"After the Palestinian Authority's reform program is fully implemented and the reconstruction of Gaza reaches a certain point, Palestine's right to self-determination and a comprehensive path to statehood will finally emerge." The adopted resolution also stated that the authority of the Peace Council and other international civilian and security entities established alongside it will last until December 31, 2027, and that the council may extend this period with a later decision.

EMPHASIS ON INTERNATIONAL STABILITY POWER

Another prominent element in the US Gaza plan was the International Stabilization Force (ISF), which will operate in Gaza.

The text noted that the Peace Board was authorized to establish the ISF, and stated, “The forces (to participate in the ISF) will be provided by the participating states and will work in close consultation with Egypt and Israel.” The decision also stated that the ISF, “together with the new and reliable Palestinian police force,” will serve in the following areas: ensuring security in the border areas, stabilizing the security environment in Gaza, ensuring the disarmament of the Gaza Strip (including preventing the destruction and reconstruction of military, terrorist, and administrative infrastructures, and permanently disabling weapons), protecting civilians and supporting humanitarian operations, providing support to the Palestinian police force, and coordinating with relevant states on humanitarian corridors.
