The ministry shared the following lines on its social media account:"My race has a joy in the Mediterranean. My homeland has a continuation beyond Mersin."

"When a nation's patience wears thin, we set out with the motto, 'Homeland is homeland beyond the sea,' even beyond the sea. These images are not just a military operation, but a silent witness to human dignity and brotherhood. With the historic photographs from the Peace Operation, which have been brought to light for the first time, we recall that epic struggle etched in our nation's memory. The images you see are a testament to how the Turkish nation protected its brothers and sisters and took decisive steps for peace. On the 51st anniversary of the Peace Operation, we commemorate our martyrs with mercy and our veterans with gratitude. The Turkish Cypriots are our beloved."
The post also included photographs claimed to have been taken during the Cyprus Peace Operation and published for the first time.
