French President Emmanuel Macron, who participated with US President Donald Trump at the G7 summit in Canada, said that Trump had submitted a proposal for a ceasefire between Israel and Iran."There is a proposal that has been made, especially around achieving a ceasefire and opening broader talks," Macron told reporters at the summit being held in the Canadian Rockies, in the province of Alberta - a summit from which Trump will leave earlier than expected, for discussions at the White House regarding the Israeli-Iranian conflict.
"If the US can achieve a ceasefire, it is a very good thing and France will support it and hope for it," the French president added. Macron stressed that it is"absolutely essential" that both sides - Israel and Iran - refrain from harming energy facilities, government centers and cultural sites,"and even more so from harming the civilian population." According to him,"nothing can justify this."

In what appears to be a new attrition tactic by Iran, the alarms throughout the north a short time ago were due to a single ballistic missile - intercepted.
The two previous volleys last night, which caused alarms throughout the center, were also much smaller than the volleys on previous nights - with Only a few missiles, most of which were intercepted or fell in open areas. In all the launches tonight, no casualties or casualties were reported, except for those who suffered minor injuries while running to the protected area.

US President Donald Trump continues to tweet on his social network Truth Social, emphasizing again and again that Iran must not be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons - with the hope in Israel that he will order the US military to join the attack on Iran's nuclear facilities.
In his latest tweets, Trump responded to criticism of him from separatist Republicans from the MAGA movement of his supporters, who oppose American involvement in wars around the world and remind him that he promised during the election campaign to end wars and not involve the United States in new ones. In response to criticism of him from former Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson, he now wrote, while attaching a mocking nickname to him:"Someone needs to explain to Cookie Tucker Carlson (i.e. 'Crazy Carlson' - Ynet) that Iran is not allowed to obtain nuclear weapons!".
Earlier tonight, Trump once again took aim at Carlson, and when asked about his statement that the president is a"partner in war," he responded by alluding to Carlson's previous firing from Fox. News:"I don't know what Tucker Carlson is saying - let him get himself a TV channel and say it on there so people will listen."
Minutes after Trump's unusual tweet, in which he called on the residents of Tehran to immediately evacuate the city, an American official claimed in a conversation with CNN that this tweet reflects the"urgency" in Iran's need to come to the negotiating table.

US President Donald Trump issued a particularly unusual warning in a tweet on the Truth Social network he owns, calling for"everyone to evacuate Tehran immediately."
Trump wrote in the post, which he later"pinned" to the top of his page on the social network: "Iran should have signed the 'deal' I told them to sign. Such a shame, and a waste of human life. Quite simply, Iran cannot obtain a nuclear weapon. I've said it over and over again! Everyone should evacuate Tehran immediately!".
Tehran is a huge city with about 10 million residents, and in recent days, in the shadow of the panic in Iran following the war with Israel, many residents have been recorded fleeing it.
