President Yitzhak Herzog visited the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot, which was directly hit by an Iranian missile on Tuesday."It is important for me to say that I am here, after the attack on the Weizmann Institute and after touring the places that were hit by Iranian missiles - everyone is returning to work, without fear, without apprehension," said the president."We continue to research, develop, and promote Israeli science, and we do not forget for a moment our abductees in Gaza, whom we want to see back home as soon as possible." He added: "The Iranians, with their criminal missiles, thought that if they hit the institute, they would slow down science. The Israeli - they are simply wrong. It is true that there is damage to the institute, and there are buildings that have been damaged, but the blows of the workers and the hammers, and the noise indicate that everything is being repaired and that full activity is returning. From here, the Weizmann Institute - a Torah will come forth, a great Torah, of progress, of peace, of good news for humanity. This is the main answer we have to our enemies there in Tehran."

Head of the Intelligence Directorate, Major General Shlomi Binder, visited the Intelligence Directorate bases, and praised the division's soldiers for"the intelligence that broke through the path to Tehran, and made it possible to hit the Iranian General Staff." In a conversation with them, Binder told them:"You will soon break through in other areas as well. You have proven that you know how to break through borders and reach any destination. Always remember that we are not fighting in just one arena. We are fighting Iran, but we have our eyes open for our hostages in Gaza, and for the various threats to the fighters on the front lines and the civilians in the home front." Deputy Commander of Battalion 136 in the Air Defense System, Major A., referred to the efforts to intercept ballistic missiles from Iran, and said:"For over two years now I have not left the position - not even for a second. Each interception is a lifetime. Sometimes when I detect a launch on a screen, I don't just see a dot - I think of a child covering himself with a blanket, of a family running to the air defense system, of a mother Which is calming." פגיעה ישירה של טיל ששוגר מאיראן בהרצליה

He added:"We are here - regulars, reservists - from anywhere, from any age, but with the same mission. We work without closing an eye, eyes on the sky, hands on the system. This is not a defense that eliminates the threat, this is a defense that aims to reduce vulnerability, and protect as many people as possible. It is what allows the IDF to attack, to keep the threat away and change the equation. We did not come here by chance. Everyone here knows exactly why they are here, to protect the home. Mine, yours, all of ours."

French President Emmanuel Macron, who participated with US President Donald Trump at the G7 summit in Canada, said that Trump had submitted a proposal for a ceasefire between Israel and Iran."There is a proposal that has been made, especially around achieving a ceasefire and opening broader talks," Macron told reporters at the summit being held in the Canadian Rockies, in the province of Alberta - a summit from which Trump will leave earlier than expected, for discussions at the White House regarding the Israeli-Iranian conflict.
"If the US can achieve a ceasefire, it is a very good thing and France will support it and hope for it," the French president added. Macron stressed that it is"absolutely essential" that both sides - Israel and Iran - refrain from harming energy facilities, government centers and cultural sites,"and even more so from harming the civilian population." According to him,"nothing can justify this."

In what appears to be a new attrition tactic by Iran, the alarms throughout the north a short time ago were due to a single ballistic missile - intercepted.
The two previous volleys last night, which caused alarms throughout the center, were also much smaller than the volleys on previous nights - with Only a few missiles, most of which were intercepted or fell in open areas. In all the launches tonight, no casualties or casualties were reported, except for those who suffered minor injuries while running to the protected area.

US President Donald Trump continues to tweet on his social network Truth Social, emphasizing again and again that Iran must not be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons - with the hope in Israel that he will order the US military to join the attack on Iran's nuclear facilities.
In his latest tweets, Trump responded to criticism of him from separatist Republicans from the MAGA movement of his supporters, who oppose American involvement in wars around the world and remind him that he promised during the election campaign to end wars and not involve the United States in new ones. In response to criticism of him from former Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson, he now wrote, while attaching a mocking nickname to him:"Someone needs to explain to Cookie Tucker Carlson (i.e. 'Crazy Carlson' - Ynet) that Iran is not allowed to obtain nuclear weapons!".

Minutes after Trump's unusual tweet, in which he called on the residents of Tehran to immediately evacuate the city, an American official claimed in a conversation with CNN that this tweet reflects the"urgency" in Iran's need to come to the negotiating table.
The official noted that during his participation in the G7 summit in Canada, Trump received regular updates on the developments in the conflict between Israel and Iran from his Secretary of State Marco Rubio and other officials. CNN noted that earlier last night, a team from the network noticed Trump's deputy, J.D. Vance, at a White House meeting with Chief of Staff Dan Kaine and other senior administration officials.
At the same time, the White House shared Trump's tweet - with an emphasis on the call to evacuate Tehran:

In parallel with President Trump's unusual tweet, in which he called on all residents of Tehran to evacuate the Iranian capital"immediately", a US official told Reuters that Trump refused to sign a draft joint statement by the leaders of the G7 countries who gathered last night in Canada.
The statement included a call for de-escalation in the conflict between Israel and Iran. It also included an explicit demand to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons, while noting that Israel has the right to defend itself.
Tonight, Defense Secretary Pete Hesseth also announced the reinforcement of US forces in the Middle East, claiming that the purpose of the move is to help protect US forces already stationed there.

US President Donald Trump issued a particularly unusual warning in a tweet on the Truth Social network he owns, calling for"everyone to evacuate Tehran immediately."
Trump wrote in the post, which he later"pinned" to the top of his page on the social network: "Iran should have signed the 'deal' I told them to sign. Such a shame, and a waste of human life. Quite simply, Iran cannot obtain a nuclear weapon. I've said it over and over again! Everyone should evacuate Tehran immediately!".
Tehran is a huge city with about 10 million residents, and in recent days, in the shadow of the panic in Iran following the war with Israel, many residents have been recorded fleeing it.
