Russia launches massive attack on Kyiv: number of casualties rises to five

In Kyiv, the number of injured people as a result of the Russian attack has increased to five people.

This was announced by the head of the KMVA, Timur Tkachenko, Ukrinform reports.

The number of victims in the Dnipro district has increased to 5. The information is being clarified, he said.

Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported that in the Dniprovskyi district, where debris hit a five-story residential building, there is damage to one of the lower floors, and two apartments are also on fire.

Earlier, Vitaliy Klitschko reported that there were fires in several locations in Kyiv, damaged houses, and there were victims.

As Ukrinform reported, an air alert was declared throughout Ukraine due to the takeoff in Russia of a MiG-31K fighter jet carrying Kinzhal missiles.
