The naval forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a missile strike and disabled the Oryol thermal power plant and electrical substation in Novobryansk (Russian Federation).

As Ukrinform reports, the Navy reported this on Facebook.

"Units of the Ukrainian Navy launched a successful missile strike with Neptun cruise missiles on the Oryol CHP and the Novobryansk electrical substation," the report says.

Both facilities provided power to military enterprises in the region, so their disruption would be a serious blow to the logistics of the Russian invaders.

As Ukrinform reported, authorities in several Russian regions announced drone attacks on Friday, including hitting a thermal power plant in the city of Orel and an electrical substation in the Vladimir region.
