The conflict between Israel and Iran is escalating. Whether US President Donald Trump will intervene has become the focus of international attention. However, Iranian authorities have specifically named Trump, saying that"as long as he (Trump) makes a phone call, the war can end."

CNN reportedthat Iranian presidential office official Majid Farahani Farahani said on the 20th that if Trump ordered and asked the Israeli leadership to stop attacking Iran, then diplomatic relations with Iran could be easily resumed, and said that"President Trump only needs to make a phone call to the Israelis to easily stop the war."

Farahani also reiterated the Iranian authorities' position that "negotiation is impossible while Israel is bombing Iran," adding that "Iran will not consider stopping its uranium enrichment operations," but is willing to make concessions on the concentration, saying"we will not stop, maybe we can reduce the concentration, but we will never give up completely."

In fact, there seems to be serious divisions within the Trump camp on whether to take direct action against Iran. In response, Farahani said,"If the United States is involved in a war, there will be many changes in future developments and various options will be on the negotiating table."
