TEL AVIV, KOMPAS.com - Israel's Defense Minister, Israel Katz, on Tuesday (24/6/2025) ordered the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to attack Tehran intensely, after accusing Iran of violating the ceasefire.

However, according to a report by Sky News, it is not known which Iranian attack Katz was referring to.

Five people were killed in the city of Beer Sheba, but Iran's Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) claimed their missiles were fired minutes before the ceasefire came into effect.

Sky News correspondents report that the scale of the destruction in Beer Sheba is enormous.

"I think what's surprising is how little information we've had from the Israeli government this morning," Cordelia Lynch, Sky News's correspondent there, said."We're expecting to hear from the prime minister later today."

"I think there is a careful calculation being done diplomatically to try and keep this ceasefire intact," he continued.

In an IRGC statement quoted by Iran's semi-official news agencyTasnim, the IRGC admitted firing 14 missiles at Israeli military centers this morning, but before a temporary ceasefire was agreed.

Meanwhile, Israel posted images of what it claims are Iranian rockets fired during the ceasefire.

In the caption, the Israeli Embassy in the UK stated that Iran is now a regional threat.

In turn, Iran blamed Israel for continuing its attacks 90 minutes after the ceasefire began.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi previously also stated that his party was ready to stop the retaliatory attack as long as Israel stopped attacking at 04.00 Tehran time.

President of the United States Donald Trump during his state speech at the White House, Washington DC, Saturday (21/6/2025), when the US Air Force attacked Iran's nuclear sites in Fordo, Isfahan, and Natanz.

As a result of the mutual accusations regarding the ceasefire, United States (US) President Donald Trump expressed his frustration.

In fiery comments, Trump told reporters that Israel and Iran"don't know what they're doing" as he left the White House for a NATO summit.

"We have to calm Israel because they are on a mission this morning," he said."I have to calm Israel."

Regarding reports that Israel and Iran violated the ceasefire, Trump said,"I don't think they did it intentionally. They can't control people."

"I don't like the fact that Israel acted this morning, and I'm going to try to stop it. As soon as I get away from you, I'm going to try to stop it," the 47th US president added.

Trump was the first person to announce an Israel-Iran ceasefire, after Iran's attack on the US air base in Al Udeid, Qatar, Monday (23/6/2025) evening local time.
