Urgent Military Support Amid Escalating Conflict

Ukrainian pilots who have already know how to fly Mirage-2000 fighters, will be able to quickly master the control of Rafale aircraft. As an UNIAN correspondent reports, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said this in Paris at a joint press conferences with French President Emmanuel Macron.

"Those pilots who already have practice on the Mirages, we know this very well - they will not spend a year training on the future Rafales, but will switch very quickly. And we talked about this before," Zelenskyy said.

The Head of State recalled that important documents on strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities were signed with France today.

Rafale aircraft for Ukraine

As UNIAN reported, Ukraine plans to purchase 100 Rafale F4 aircraft by 2035 to strengthen combat aviation. According to aviation expert, leading researcher of the State Aviation Museum Valery Romanenko, the first"Rafales" will arrive in Ukraine in three years.

In September, it became known that France had transferred up to 5 Mirage-2000 fighters to Ukraine in early 2025. Mirage 2000-5F aircraft were to strengthen the aviation capabilities of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, but we're not talking about air battles.
