A drone strike on VNDIR JSC has been confirmed in Cheboksary. The enterprise, which produces electronic warfare (EW) equipment for the Russian army, has suspended operations.

"Two UAVs fell on the territory of VNDIR JSC... One more drone fell in the fields of the Cheboksary and Krasnoarmeysky municipal districts - there is no threat to people," the publication quotes the head of the republic, Oleg Nikolayev.
According to him, there were no injuries either.
Later, Nikolayev reported that production had been stopped at the VNDIR enterprise in Cheboksary.
"A responsible decision has been made to temporarily suspend production for the safety of employees," Nikolayev wrote.
According to the Telegram channel Astra, which published a video of the attack, Joint Stock Company"VNDIR-PROGRES" produces "Comet" receivers for the Russian army, which protect Russian drones from Ukrainian electronic warfare equipment.
